Full Time Front Desk Patient Accounts Representative

Job Description

Greet patients and visitors. Answer and transfer phone calls. Register patients for Outpatient procedures. Look up and enter information on patient accounts as required to enable billing of claims. Record receipts and prepare daily bank deposit. Communicate with patients to assist in all avenues of financial assistance available. Responsibilities include conducting financial interviews, counseling patients and guarantors on options and obligations. Communicating and processing all activities with Collection Agency, including calling patients for past due accounts. Upfront cash collections and communication with patients regarding costs. Provide support to Business Office Manager and other staff as needed.
